# Superdock: one Dock icon per Chrome profile on your Mac

Superdock is a Mac Dock replacement that gives every Chrome profile its own Dock icon. macOS folds all your profiles into one icon; Superdock separates them, and leaves the rest of your Mac exactly as it is.

## What you get

- One icon per Chrome profile, with that profile's avatar. Right-click and hover show only that profile's windows.
- Window previews: hover an app to see its windows and jump to one.
- An Alt-Tab style window switcher (Option-Tab, or Command-Tab if you prefer), off by default.
- A dock on every display, showing the apps whose windows are on that display.
- Dock edges you can click: Mission Control on one end, Show Desktop on the other, configurable.
- Everything else as Apple made it: pinned apps, Trash, running dots, drag to reorder, drag off to remove, magnification, light and dark mode.

## How it differs from separate Chrome instances

Other tools launch a separate copy of Chrome per profile, costing about 2.8x the memory and a fresh sign-in per copy. Superdock keeps the one Chrome you have and attributes windows to profiles from window titles and Chrome's profile list.
